The incident occurred at 2:30 p.m. near Lehigh Manor Estates, Camden County Prosecutor Grace McAuley said. No shots were fired by law enforcement, McAuley said.
A Winslow Township Police Department Officer was removed from the scene for medical treatment, McAuley said. The officer’s injuries appear to be non-life threatening, McAuley said.
An investigation confirmed this was an isolated incident and there is no active threat to area residents or the surrounding community, McAuley said.
This investigation remains active and ongoing, McAuley said.
